I agree completely with your statement about biting German Shepherds resulting from lack of owner attention to the dogs needs. Early socialization, bite inhibition, even corrective bite training can stop biting. If the owner doesn't know this and sees the dogs behavior as natural to the breed, you get a German Shepherd that bites. I hate to see a dog that unhappy and equally hate to see the breed misunderstood.

Great dogs and very loyal. Always make sure you check with the breeder what the parents \"Hip scores \" are. they can usually supply the relivent paperwork.

I am a dog person and I believe that our canine friends are some of the most intelligent in the animal kingdom. My dog, Bulhulk (from Incredible Hulk) is half Japanese spitz, half poodle and he is just so adorable.

Ive always had dogs, ever since I was 10 which is about 20 years ago. I have a German Shepherd right now and must say hes one of the smartest dogs Ive ever had. Ive also have a very smart golden retriever...not sure which was more intelligent
