If your dog growls at children when they hug him too tight or too much, explain to your children that they have to be easier with the dog and respect his personal space. Then you can also teach your dog that the children are safe and mean no harm when they hug tightly.
Good training and these simple dog tips will help you stop dog growling. You will find a happier dog as well as a happier family when the dog growling problem is resolved. You have the added bonus of knowing how to deal with problems like this should they ever arise in the future.

My dog barks at cars and people he doesn’t recognize through our screen window a lot. Sometimes it can be irritating, but he is a very good watch dog that way. Other than that, he keeps to himself.
