The Best Dog Training Videos

Dog training videos are a great way to learn the best techniques for obedience training your puppy or dog at home. If you have a puppy or dog that you would like to obedience train yourself at home, watch a dog training video first will help you make sure you don’t make the common mistakes that almost everyone seems to make when training their pets. Avoiding mistakes with your dog training sessions is nearly as important to the overall success as the exercises themselves, as far as creating quick and effective results.

Watching a professional dog trainer work their magic on a video is a great way to see how exactly what techniques they use themselves to get great results. By watching the videos you will understand exactly what tone of voice to use while commanding your dog to perform an exercise, as well as how to use body language to communicate with your dog. You will learn the importance of using an upbeat and cheerful voice, and lots of praise when it is due, when teaching your do his exercises. Likewise, you will learn not to make the mistakes of raising your voice and yelling in anger at your dog while training him.

Even in the best of the dog training books, you are told what tone of voice to use, but by listening to a dog training video you can actually hear the right vocal tones. Therefore, dog training videos might work even better than books for people who find that they learn better by watching and listening rather than by reading.

I know that I learn best when I can actually see how something is done, as well as listen to an explanation, and the videos have given me a better picture of how I should be going about teaching my own dogs. I sometimes like to watch the dog videos on YouTube for new ideas and also for entertainment. If you have already seen some of these, you can see a lot of people have different ways of going about the dog training. One thing I have noticed is that all the best trained pups and dogs were trained using positive training techniques.

However, I don’t recommend trying to learn how to train your dog just by watching YouTube dog training videos. You need a video training program that is proven to work and covers all the aspects of dog training in a complete step by step program taking your from puppy training right on up through advanced training methods.

They many dog training videos on the Internet offer lots of conflicting information and advice. Of the various good dog training vidoes that I have had a chance to see, I have found one that I think is the best of all of them. Please click here to check out my favorite dog training video program.

Agreed! Videos are a great way to learn about different training techniques. Sometimes reading long articles all the time gets really old.

Dog training videos are a great way to learn how to train your dog. There are a lot of people (including myself), that learn better from watching a video instead of just reading about dog training.

Usually I prefer reading something if I want to learn about a certain subject. But some things don’t translate very well to text, especially physical endeavors like dog training. So I definitely agree that videos are a huge help when it comes to this!
